Bait 2017 Now In Post Production.
From the 17th - 21st of December I was up in Norwich filming for Bait. I had travelled up in November to film the opening sequence with he director from London, Ryan J Smith and to meet the producer John Ferrer. My costar Felix Knight was also there. This only took one day and we had a rough cut the next week.
Filming the full thing was a bit tougher, I had to not wash my hair for a week, and spend several hours getting made up including have a stomach prosthetic applied by the makeup artist Chloe Winslade.
On the first night we filmed some test shots and I had to have several of the same costume picked up for me (due to blood stains and continuity).
The test shots came out well and the director and producer really pulled inspiration from films like Alien and Ash vs. The Evil Dead which inspired my character name Ashlie.
I had my makeup done by Chloe on the first day and met the lightning assistant Michael, I looked like I had been through hell which was perfect apparently.

On the first day I filmed all the first scenes, including one where I had to throw up. I got some behind the scenes footage and it really was absolutely horrible. I also had to lay in a bath and got very hot and sweaty!

I will be creating a BTS edit later next week so everyone can see what the crew and I got up too for the few days we filmed.
The rest of the days involved finishing the shots and we stayed up past midnight most evenings to get the right shots. I won't spoil too much but here are some more images from the few days.

I will keep everyone updated as much as I can (and am allowed too) but for now, I'm home just in time for Christmas.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all,
Nell x
